May'N coming to Singapore. Can I die.

So, the singing voice of Sheryl Nome is making her way down to my favourite island this November for Anime Festival Asia 2008.

Like wtf. Can die. While I'm not a hopping fanboy like some people I still love her songs and voice and damn yeah I'd kill to see her live. This is the second time an anime-related star has been so close to home (after Masazaku Morita at Gacc 08, which I missed T_T) damn damn damn damn I want to see her live. I want. Want want want wantwantwant. :(

AFA08 is on 22 and 23 November, and I'll be flying back to Kuching by 18 November (assuming I pass EOS orz). Fucking perfect. Sometimes I really hate living over the South China Sea. At least if I lived in Peninsular I could take a bus down any time I wanted. Flexible. Hell not just CF, even Cosfest or SOY/EOY would be a mere forty bucks away. To make things abso-fucking-lutely better, Air Asia doesn't have direct KCH-SIN flights. KCH-JHB flights are costing around RM100 now. Not including tax, or transport down to Singapore itself. Air tickets for mid-December are about RM100+ per way minus tax so I'm still contemplating whether or not to blow a few hundred bucks just to go to Comic Fiesta 08 [CF08 is 20-21 Dec].

So I could potentially be missing both MayN and Comic Fiesta this year. I feel like stabbing someone with a blunt metal object right now. Or at least scream why oh why God did I have stingy parents who booked all my flights one year in advance just to get them cheap.

Now this has to come up. Hell I don't care. If I pass EOS first time I'm gonna treat myself to this one. By hook or by crook I'll get there. I'll starve the next few months. I'll find somebody's place to camp and/or leech. I'd do a Chris Gardner and sleep in MRT station toilets if I have too. And I'm not even a raving fanboy. Rawr. Good thing it weren't Yoko Kanno that's making an appearance because only god knows what I'll do/risk/sacrifice to get there.
