I'm in the student lounge because it's where I can leech internet, it's nearly 10pm, because dress code is lifted after 5pm or so and it's quiet. The student lounge is awesome, it has a pool table (RM2.50 per play, but we cheat by blocking the balls from going in. That way we can play 10 rounds with the price of one.), TV with nearly every channel on Astro (Hakaba Kitaro is playing on Animax now), dart boards, a meeting room, things to read (2005 Reader's Digest issues), Ikea furniture and of course wireless which is actually not too bad. Best of all, the seniors leave you alone.
I've been spending the past few nights here, mainly because of internet and it's such a great place to chill. Too bad it blocks BT, otherwise it would be perfect.
I've been so busy with orientation preparation I conpletely forgot about GACC, which I'm 99.9% sure I won't be going. -_- The GACC committee should really consider getting a more accesible location next time. Besides, this Saturday is our Track Trip- another part of our orientation where we need to take public transport to various malls and do stuff based on themes. My group will be going to Berjaya Times Square, which is great because Borders is there. *mangamangamanga :D* Our theme is Autumn in my Heart -_- , and my team suggested we wear orange clothes, which I don't have. Oh well, I'll worry about that later.
We've also been doing quite a bit of First Aid, and there's a theory test on it next Thursday. Some say it's being assessed for real, but I've learnt not to trust what seniors say after I heard the Orientation Committee president was 31, married with two kids, whereas he was a second semester student (or was it third?). At least that's something for us to do (as if we don't have any).
For now, I'm just glad for the wireless, even if there's no BT. :)
